Portage Lane sits in New Lynn, close to LynnMall, the train station and the northwestern motorway. The project began with the removal of the original house on the site and delivered eight homes in its place. The designs draw on the most current architectural thinking of the time, and the homes read as a considered group rather than a repeated unit. Strong street appeal and a well-connected location saw the development sell through quickly.
